Following the disastrous Great War which ended leaving the entire world in shambles, and the Great Migration allowing for a reset of the world, rules, laws, and regulations were set in place to ensure that such an event would never happen again. Language was regulated, demanding that every nation teach Achalasian in schools, nuclear power of any type was banned from being used or created, militarization and the development of militaries was more strictly monitored, and new land boundaries were drawn and not to be changed unless through mutual agreement.
Two hundred years later, some things seem to have changed, despite the laws remaining the same, and 16 year old DARIUS finds himself at one of the Achalasian Academies of New Hope diligently working to become a soldier and serve his beloved nation of Achalasia which had now been in a small-scale war between the supposedly corrupt nation of Toskamiria over the land named Sersaria for several years.
With tensions rising, DARIUS only feels a stronger need to become a hero to bring honor to his nation, but what happens when missiles are sent to the city in which he resides and is finally needed to fight, and begins to slowly realize truths about his nation as he makes his way through his new life on the battlefield with new comrades who all have something new to teach him about the darker truths of the world, and how does he navigate these foreign relationships when he came from a world of independence and isolation?
